I had forgotten how effing hilarious this was!!!!
I never laughed so hard as when I first heard this on the radio. It was during public radio pledge drive and I donated just so I could get the CD!
To all those you have seen a thumb’s down, here. I meant to give you a thumb’s up, but like the story of the Easter Bell, I fucked up….
My fiancee and I listen to this far too much.
HAHA…. give the Pope aneurysm.

Oh my freaking gosh that is soooo hilarious!
“And on the Easter, we be sad because someone make him dead today.”
Oh god, Sedaris has what is quite possibly the best sense of humour of our age.

So altruistic!
Ridiculously funny…love this.
@Apashiol a lot, and 4 months has passed since you posted it.. so I assume you have heard “6 to 8 black men”?!
@dominice112
Since then I have tracked down lots of his work. He is excellent.
not funny
I think anyone who has ever tried to learn a second language can totally relate to this. And that’s why it’s hilarious.
ive seen David Sedaris twice, read alomst all of his books. this is by FAR my favorite passage
@Beckham347 – Really? This is the best of his stuff, in your opinion? I’m listening, and it’s amusing, but I don’t find it laugh-out-loud funny. I can relate too, having taken second language courses. This is actually encouraging, since I have writing skills and funnier real-life stories than this. Maybe you’ll be reading my books one day!
