Well guys, I think I’m about at the end of my rope with Machinima. Once they pay me, I may very well terminate my contract with them, as it doesn’t appear that Machinima is a place for people with my taste in humor anymore. I’ve not made a final decision yet, but right now I’m leaning towards quitting. I’m a shock jock; this is what I do. I offend, I disturb, I make people uncomfortable. This is my style. Hell, the first words I ever said on Machinima’s channel were “I backed my cock into a cop’s ass the other day.” Now it seems that they’re imposing some stupid fifth-grade language standard that is killing people like me who aren’t afraid to swear and aren’t afraid to speak their minds. I had a video rejected a week or so ago wherein I made some choice comments about Mexico. I was fine with that, I asked what I needed to fix and wound up redoing the commentary and resubmitting it. Race is something people can’t control. This was not the same. This was the same language I’ve used before, just in greater quantity. An L+ rating would have been fine to warn viewers. Which brings me to my next point about swearing: people either know what a swear is or they don’t. If they don’t know what the word “fuck” means, then it’s meaningless to them and won’t affect them. If they do know what it means, then they’re going to have to live with it, because it is a fact: people swear in this world.
